You know how I've been coping with homesick, aside from reading and pouring myself over work?
My Chinese New Year biscuits that my Mom gave me.
I often time feed on them when I want a taste of home.
And guess what?
I just finished the last of it.

I am trying to slowly grasp the meaning of life recently. Not that I haven't; but I have yet to know what exactly do I want in this life.
I guess I am overwhelmed by the amount of reflection papers that I need to produce recently, which makes want to reflect on many things that I am doing. Now. And the future.
The past leaves a lot of nostalgic memories to me; of which some I chose to hold on and many I have chosen to let go. Sometimes i look back in time, and I smile. And sometimes I could feel the tears well up in my eyes.
Amidst all the reading and reports which I have to do, having extra time to spare makes me think more than I should. The weather is so humid these days, that I could not even find solace in my dreams. I toss and turn on the bed which I often find comfort and find myself awake, drench in sweat and tired eyes, not able to sleep.
People kept asking me; what do I see myself as in the future. I tell them I am unsure, and I don't know. And people just don't seem to believe your answers, just because you are a soon-to-be-degree-holder. They expect you to not only able to read their minds, but your own future as well just because you are a Psychology undergraduate.
Pressure pressure.
And I don't like such pressure.
I do not know why I need to give other people explanation of my own life. Be it I come out and work as a barista or a vet assistant or open my own cake shop or sell hardware items or anything non-Psych related should be of no one's concern.
I'm still an amateur, in the walk of my own life. Like a child, I'm still eager to learn, eager to experience the joy of everyday life, the feeling of walking in the rain and watching the sun rise.
anyway,
[snap snap]
I shouldn't be so emo now, should I? There are happier in things in life worth celebrating =D
Was out dinnering with Limmy (man, I still call her that >.<) and Khian (who came looking for me 3 freaking days in a row!) i shall not put pictures of the food, since the Limmy the Flogger will do it, I shall just put pictures of us =DDD

With Limmy!!!
Limmy is seriously my childhood friend man. Gosh, I really miss hanging out with her!

Limmy and Khian
and I am not going to be like some vain pot like Khian someone who puts up so many pictures of herself, so you can see more pictures here.
okay, maybe i should put a group picture here as well XD

Group pic! :D
ok.
Now back to assignments.

I had a great birthday yesterday! =) Didn't do much, but it was ultimately satisfying =D
I went to Marche at The Curve for lunch with my brother
Lunch was awesome ^o^ Both of us were stuffed! XD
We went on to the flea market, and bought 2 shirts and some Japan made erasers =)
After that, we went shopping at IKEA and Padini Concept Store at IKANO Power Centre. Then we headed back to Lucas's place and slept over there. I helped him wrap his text books, trying to clear my inbox and facebook while he did his assignments and homework. And i was reading Pokemon comics too! ^^
My final mini celebration took place during mid-night, where Lucas's landlady and roomate celebrated with me with a bottle of Bellingham 2006 Red Wine and Chinese New Year cookies! =) I drank half a bottle of the wine, and i slept VERY well yesterday night.. hahah! =D
and to those who bought me something:
It has been a great day yesterday! Especially the wine and chatting throughout the night! =) I have another birthday dinner at The Gardens tonight - which I can't wait, because I LOVE Chinese cuisine =)
Chinese cuisine reminds me of my 21st birthday celebration which I had last year with my bunch of close friends:

An Adidas shirt from Sydney from Mei Ling :)
and

a handphone Cat charm which says "Achievement in Love" in Chinese,
given by Tin before she left back to Sydney.
ahem. I think she thinks I need this because I haven't been succeeding in my love life?! 0_0 >.<
and not forgetting the RM100 bucks that Lucas gave me to spend =), ang pao money from my babysitter, grandma and aunt.
I have yet thought of what to do with the money, and haven't thought of what I want from 2 more of my aunts too. Hmm.
(p/s: Khianners, where is my Fossil wallet???! =P )

I had an awesome Chinese New Year holiday back in Ipoh =))) I went back 4 days before Chinese New Year, which makes me back in Ipoh for about 10 days already! =))

Me and a very contented Robyn! :D
My family and I did not join my Dad's side of the family for Chinese New Year this time around, simply because it's the first time in 2 years since Lucas and I got to spend Chinese New Year with both of my parents.

Family photo =)

and

Tiramisu

He's still as charming ^^

Often times, my mom prefers to celebrate my birthday according to Chinese calendar. According to her, this is because it's the 'actual' date. Hmmm?
With Daddddddyyyy! =D
Well, the last thing I did in Ipoh before returning to KL was of course, a session of pillow talk with my brother =)This is our first trip back to Ipoh since we both left to KL, so of course we had lots to share with each other!

So, we wanted to savour the moment, and spend it on our own without much hassle.
I was very busy the first few days back in Ipoh. As I was itching for almost 2 weeks even after visiting the doctor twice, I had to do a blood test. So i had rather frequent visits to the doctor. Did a little bit of last minute shopping and catch up with my cousins.
That aside, i slept and read a lot. And watched Miss No Good.

Miss No Good; starring Rainie Yang and Wilber Pan =D
This drama series is seriously hilarious, and managed to kept me entertained for 3 days! And by the end of it, i was drooling over him :P :

I did not want to get hooked on another series before returning to KL, so for the last two days in Ipoh, i spent time watching:
My Schoolmate The Barbarian
starring Nicholas Tse and Stephen Fung
and
Tiramisu
starring Nicholas Tse and Karena Lam
They are both my all time favourite Nicholas Tse movies =) I couldn't get them here, so i ordered these DVDs together with his first album My Attitude from yesasia.com =)) Nicholas Tse is the first singer/actor which I drooled over since I was 15! I don't know how many times i have re-watched his movies!! =P
He's still as charming ^^
Aside that, I was reading Jodi Picoult's Change of Heart
A Christmas present all the way from Sydney from Mei Ling!! =))
To add on, I was born on the 4th day of Chinese New Year according to the Lunar Calendar. Sooooo, my Mom ordered Lemon Cake for me, and did a mini celebration at home =))
